Practice Sessions

We conduct several in-person “Practice Sessions” at Davis and Woodland Senior Centers during November and December.  This is an excellent opportunity to meet some of our experienced tax preparers and learn how to access Practice Lab and begin your training. Bring your laptop or Chromebook if you have one, orherwise we can provide one.

In-Person Classroom Training

Six days of in-person tax training will be conducted at the Woodland Senior Center in January 2027. While all volunteers are invited, the first four days are aimed at new volunteers and will cover on tax law, use of tax software, scope, intake interviews, and Program policies and procedures. The final two days are required for all volunteers. Full agenda to follow.

Dates: January 13, 14, 15, 19 (NO CLASS on holiday Monday 1/18), Time: 9am to 1pm

Training Review Required for all Volunteers

Dates: January 20-21, Time: 9am to 3pm
